John Dooley, aged forty-five, who was a resident of this city for fifteen years,
died last week at Chicago, where he had gone a short time before his demise to
undergo an operation for cancer. The deceased was 45 years of age. Until a short
time ago, he was employed as a moulder at the Seating Works. He resided on
Washington Street. He is survived by a wife, one sister and one brother. The
remains were brought here for interment, and the funeral was held Tuesday
morning from Sacred Heart church. [bur. 01-30-1906/cause: pneumonia]
