C. EARL DOREY
Earl C. (sic) Dorey, 64, former Manitowoc resident, died Monday morning
at Milwaukee County Hospital following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. D. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Dorey was born at Manitowoc Oct. 16, 1896, son of the late Thomas C.
and Margaret Barry Dorey. He attended Sacred Heart School and was graduated
from Manitowoc Business College. Mr. Dorey, who never married, went to
Milwaukee 17 years ago and prior to his retirement had been employed by
Pere Marquette Railway.
Surviving are two brothers, Leo and James, of Manitowoc, and two sisters,
Mrs. William H. Smith and Mrs. Arthur W. Hensel, of HIka.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
