J. LEO DOREY
Leo Dorey, 77, of 505 Chicago St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at home.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev.
Claude LeClair officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Dorey was born Oct. 2, 1887 at Manitowoc, son of the late Thomas and Margaret
Barry Dorey. On July 26, 1917, he married Ida Miller at Manitowoc. The couple
always resided in the city. He was employed by Smalley Manufacturing Co. until
his retirement seven years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the
church.
Survivors are the wife; two sons, James and Leroy, Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs.
David Titus of Manitowoc; a brother, James of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi
Smith and Mrs. Arthur Hensel of Hika; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where the Rosary will
be recited at 7:30 p.m.
