MARGARET DOREY
Mrs. Thomas C. Dorey, 85, of 505 Chicago street, died yesterday at her home
following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home
and at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, the Rev. L. M. Schorn
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Dorey, nee Margaret Barry, was born in Manitowoc in 1861, and in 1886 was
married to Thomas Dorey. She was a charter member of the American War Mothers
of Manitowoc and the Sacred Heart Altar society.
Survivors are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Smith of Madison and Mrs.
Lancia Splitt of Manitowoc; three sons, James, Earl and Leo all of Manitowoc;
a sister, Mrs. Mary Wittey of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grand-
children.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Monday noon until time of
services Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m.
Monday.
