THOMAS DOREY JR. (d. 1946)
Dr. T. C. Dorey, 43, former Manitowoc resident, died suddenly Monday at Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer funeral home
and at 9 o’clock at the Sacred Heart church, the Rev. L. M. Schorn officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Dr. Dorey, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Dorey of this city, was born in Manitowoc
and was graduated from the old Washington high school in 1922. During his school
years he was active in debating and musical circles of the school. He was also
graduated from the Northern Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago.
He had practiced optometry in Milwaukee for the past 15 years.
Survivors are the parents; two sisters, Mrs. Lance Splitt of this city and Mrs.
William Smith of Madison; three brothers, Leo, James and Earl of this city; as
well as several nieces and nephews.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, where the
rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
