Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 1998, at
the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Deacon William
Klein will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Doubek was born May 12, 1933, at Manitwooc (sic), son the (sic) late
Louis and Mildred Decker Doubek. He was a graduate of Lincoln High
School with the Class of 1951. On January 14, 1953, he entered the
United States Air Force being discharged October 13, 1956. On August 10,
1968, he was married to Shirley Mae Wilson, in Manitowoc. Roderick
retired from Kaufman Manufacturing in Manitowoc and still worked on a
part-time basis. During his pastime he liked to collect stamps.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, Manitowoc; three sons and two
daughters-in-law, Roderick (Sherry) Grapentine, Wilburton, Okla., Dan D.
Grapentine, Rio Doso, N.M., Dan L. (Joan) Doubek, Sturgeon Bay; three
daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane (Gary) Tounsley, Custer, S.D., Dawn
(Jordan) Hunt, El Paso, Texas, Renee Doubek, Manitowoc; three
step-children, Eileen Matte, Manitowoc, Robert L. (Nancy) Wiltman,
Manitowoc, Kathryn (Paul) Grosstueck, Jr., Two Rivers; 15 grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis L.
(Mardell) Doubek, Two Rivers, James L. (Dawn) Doubek, Two Rivers; one
uncle and four aunts, George (Barbara) Decker, Manitowoc, Grace Hartman,
Branch, Elsie Lyon, Branch, Rose Skarvan, Rural Whitelaw. He was
preceded in death by one brother, John Doubek.
