MRS. DOUGLAS DIES IN ANTIGO
Former Local Woman Is To Be Buried In City
Mrs. John Douglas, 49, who was born in Manitowoc and whose maiden name was Anna
Schlegelmilch, died on Tuesday at Antigo. She was born here in 1882 and was
married here to John Douglas in 1901. They moved to Antigo to reside in 1909. The
deceased is survived by her widower and one son Archie, two sisters, Mrs. Paul Hans,
Milwaukee and Mrs. Carl Oquist, this city, and two brothers, Gust and Edward
Schlegelmilch of this city.
Funeral services were held from the home at Antigo on Wednesday afternoon and the
remains brought here last night to the home of the sister, Mrs. Carl Oquist, 427
North Tenth street. Funeral services will be held from the Oquist home at 2 o'clock
Friday afternoon, with interment at Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. John Douglas, 49, who was born in Manitowoc and whose maiden name was Anna
Schlegelmilch, died on Tuesday at Antigo. She was born here in 1882 and was
married here to John Douglas in 1901. They moved to Antigo to reside in 1909. The
