Death Claims Mrs. Minnie Douglas, 71
Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Minnie Douglas, “grandma” as
she was known to friends of the family, the death of Mrs. Douglas having occurred
Sunday at the home on Chicago street. Decedent was 71 years of age and for half
a century had been a resident of Manitowoc county, having come here from Germany
as a young girl. Mrs. Douglas, whose husband died a year and a half ago, is
survived by three daughters and three sons, one son Charles being a member of the
police department of this city. The children are Mrs. Charles Koehler and Mrs.
Charles Senkbell of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Otto Schwond of Mattoon, Wis., William
Helmuth and Charles Douglas of this city and John Douglas, Antigo.
