MATTIE DROM
Mattie M. Drom, 92, of 835 N. 15th Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning,
September 23, 1990 at the Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services
will be 1 pm Friday, September 28 at First Lutheran Church Chapel. Officiating
the service will be the Rev. Richard Lind with burial to follow in the Evergreen
Cemetery.
She was born December 31, 1897 in Shawano County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late
H. Peter and Anna Bredesen Hansen. She married August T. Drom on June 18, 1923
in Manitowoc and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1984.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Arlyn and Shirley Drom of Parker,
Texas, a niece, Dorothy Loritz of Manitowoc; a nephew, Vernon and Thelma Heagle
of Manitowoc; five granddaughters, Deborah Gant of Dallas, Texas, Constance and
Harvey McMillan of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Patricia Drom of Garland, Texas, Carolyn
and Grant Dornan of Bakersfield, Californa, Katie Drom of San Antonio, Texas; five
great grandchildren, Christopher and Hillary Gant, Jessica and Daniel McMillian,
Zachary Dorman. she is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Clare and Floyd Horton
of Antioch, Illinois, Mary Ellis of Antioch, Illinois, Beulah Drom of Urbana,
Illinois; oither nieces, nephews, relatives and friends survive. She was preceded
in death by one sister, Christine Heagle.
Friends may call at the First Lutheran Church Chapel, 11 am Friday until the time
of service. Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
