ELMER DRUMM (d. 1981)

Elmer W. Drumm, 82, a resident of Park Lawn Home and formerly of 4305 Custer
St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, January 21, at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home.
The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Drumm was born Sept. 2, 1896, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and
Elizabeth Wetenkamp Drumm. He grew up at Manitowoc, attended Manitowoc Rapids
Grade School and was graduated from First German Lutheran School. He married
Mabel B. Raatz Oct. 15, 1924, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. He
had lived in the Manitowoc area all his life, where he was a dairy farmer and
lumberman, doing commercial logging. He retired in 1964. Mr. Drumm was a member
of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, life member of Manitowoc Fish and
Game Association, past director and member of Manitowoc Chapter of Izaak Walton
League of America, past president and director of Manitowoc Mortgage Holding
Company and a member of Manitowoc County Farm Bureau and Branch Fire Department.
Mrs. Drumm preceded him in death Dec. 11, 1973.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Margaret Drumm and
Gerald and Elaine Drumm of Manitowoc, eight grandchildren, two great grand-
children and nieces. Two sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister preceded him
in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this
Thursday evening and Friday until the time of service.
