Ill since last December John Drumm, father of Police Commissioner
Frank A. Drumm, life long resident of Manitowoc county, died at the
Holy Family hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks at
11:50 o'clock this morning. The funeral arrangements had not been

his seventy-third birthday. He was married at Manitowoc Rapids forty-
seven years ago and until ten years ago made his home on the farm,
retiring to live in this city at 2002 Washington street. He is survived
by his widow, three sons, John C. Jr., of Omaha, Frank and Hugo of this
city and one daughter, Mrs. Peter Goldman of Chicago. One brother,
William of Manitowoc Rapids, two sisters, Mrs. George Braun of this
city and Mrs. Fred Eggert of Texas and five grandchildren also survive
him. Mr. Drumm was always a home man and belonged to no organization
outside of his church where he was a regular attendant and an active
