Mrs. Ruth L. Drumm, formerly of 1116 N. 6th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 11, at St. Mary Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Margaret Wright will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Drumm was born at Milwaukee, daughter of the late Frank and Clara Stitch Linder. She attended schools at Manitowoc, and was graduated from the old Southside High school. She was married to Elmer Drumm, July 27, 1921, at Manitowoc, the couple residing here all their lives. He preceded her in death in 1960. Mrs. Drumm was a member of First Presbyterian Church, past president of Ladies Elks Club Auxiliary, a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star No. 196, a member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a former member of Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and past president of Ladies Auxiliary of Knight Templars.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley C. Cupertino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Dedricks and Mrs. LaMadeliene Straub of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and at the church from noon until the time of services. An Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Nursing Home, First Presbyterian Church or the donor's choice.
