William J. Drumm, 76, of 845 Summit St., Manitowoc, died Sunday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Lutheran Church Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce W. Hanstedt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Drumm was born Jan. 25, 1901, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and Bertha Rohrer Drumm and resided in Manitowoc all his life. He married Lorraine I. Ellestad Nov. 8, 1927. Prior to his retirement in 1967, he had been employed as a plumber for E.W. Braunel Co. and also served as City of Manitowoc plumbing and gas inspector. He was a 40 year member of United Assn. of Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of United States and Canada and also served on the Plumbing Apprenticeship Board for many years.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Jean Craney of Sheboygan and Mrs. Santos (Joan) Zingale of Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Sheets of Flora, Ind., Mrs. Lucy Rux or (sic) Winamac, Ind., and Mrs. Florence Meisner of Manitowoc, six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening until 1 p.m. Wednesday, when the casket will be moved to First Lutheran Church Chapel where the body will lie in state until the time of service. The casket will remain closed.
