[E2-55-6]-[Marie Dubetzky/d. unk/no record of her, information received
from Mrs. Alvina Klicka, lot owner]

Mysterious Death.
We are again compelled to record one of those mysterious deaths for which our county seems to be unfortunately noted. Mrs. Marie Dubetzky, a resident of Reedsville, left her bed and house in that village on Tuesday morning, about 2 o'clock, and although search was immediately made for her, she was not found until 5 o'clock in the afternoon, when her lifeless body was discovered in the creek within a few rods of her dwelling. Her age was about 24, and she left a husband and two children.
She was a daughter of Mr. John Stupecky, and her friends cannot understand the cause of her sudden and mysterious death, except on the ground that she was subject to fits, and while in one of them met with her untimely end. As she left the house with no other apparel but her night clothes, it is very probable that this supposition is a correct one. Her funeral took place in this village yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
