Mrs. Alvina A. Duchon, age 94, formerly of 1020 N. 16th St., currently residing at Harmony West, died Wednesday morning, August 25, 1999.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 1999, at First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Cynthia Little will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Alvina Kostlevy was born April 3, 1905, in the town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Fogeltanz Kostlevy. On September 4, 1928, Alvina was married to Anton Duchon, at Melnik Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death
on September 13, 1986. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald (Mildred) Duchon, Manitowoc, Gerald (Maureen) Duchon, Madison, Claude (Helen) Duchon, Norman, Okla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Rita (Bruce) Kilmer, Green Bay; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Verona Prokop, Two Rivers, Agnes Havlichek, Francis Creek, Marion Novotny, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily Kostlevy, Lillian Skarivoda and one brother, Henry Kostlevy.
Relatives and friends may call at the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the times of service. Memorials would be appreciated for First Presbyterian Church or the Memorial of your choice.Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Services, Manitowoc is serving the family.The family would like to extend their special thanks to the staff of Harmony West for their exceptional care and love.
