ALVINA B. DUCKART

Mrs. Joseph (Alvina B.) Duckart, 75, of 1516 Division St., Manitowoc, died
Friday evening, April 18, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. The Mass
of Christian Burial will be 10 am Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. James J. Stamborski will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Duckart was born March 1, 1911 at Menchalville, daughter of the late
Albert and Mary Wanish Tisler. She grew up and was educated in the Menchalville
area. After her marriage she lived near Bolt, Wis., and then moved to Manitowoc
in 1941. She was married to Joseph M. Duckart, July 28, 1931 at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Mrs. Duckart was a member of St. Andrew Catholic
Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; four daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian
and Herman Sprang of Reedsville, Charlotte and Myron Anderson of Madison, Kay
and Eugene Miller of Clarks Mills, Wis., and Bonnie and Roger Stehula of Branch,
Wis.; 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Holzschuh, Julia
Sauer and Mayme Stinski and a brother, Edward Tisler.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold State St. Chapel,
4 pm to 9 pm this Sunday, where a parish prayer service will be 8 pm by Rev.
James Stamborski.
