Joseph M. Duckart, age 85, formerly of 1516 Division St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
evening, March 26, 1992, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 1992, 9:30 a.m. at Reinbold
Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
He was born March 11, 1907 in the township of Franklin in Kewaunee County, son of
the late Peter and Katherine Weber Duckart. He grew up and attended local schools
in the township of Franklin, Kewaunee County. He married Alvina Tisler July 28,
1931 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kellnersville. After their marriage they
lived near Bolt, Wis., and moved in Manitowoc in 1941. He worked for Burger Boat
Company and later worked as a malster at Anheuser Busch Company, Manitowoc, for
26 years, retiring in 1972. He enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of St.
Andrew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Herman Sprang of
Reedsville, Wis.; Charlotte and Myron Anderson of Madison, Wis., Kay and Eugene
Miller of Cato, Wis., Bonnie and Robert Stehula of Manitowoc; 21 grandchildren;
28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces,
nephews, other relatives and a special friend, Mary Kakuk of Manitowoc, Wis. He
was preceded in death by his wife, Alvina on April 18, 1986, one brother and three
sisters.

9 p.m. Sunday.
