Emil G. Duebner, 84, of Family Heritage Home and formerly of 1012 Manila St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon, September 13, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arthur Wille will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Duebner was born Oct. 10, 1896, in the Town of Newton, son of the late Carl and Wilhelmina Kreie Duebner. He married Rose Werner Nov. 11, 1919, at Manitowoc, the couple resided here all their lives. She preceded him in death in 1967. Mr Duebner had been employed at Banquet Ice Cream Company, Sorge Dairy and Kingsbury Brewery of Manitowoc. He was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, church Brotherhood and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet Kowalski and Carmen and Bob Mlada of Manitowoc; a sister, Adelia Mahnke of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from noon Friday until the time of service.
