EMIL DUENO, 61, DIES AT HOME ON SATURDAY
Passing away on Saturday afternoon at 3:15 o’clock, five months
to the hour after his brother, the late Captain Charles Dueno
had passed away, Emil Dueno, 61 years of age, one of the pioneer
residents of the city, was buried this afternoon. Services took
place at 1:30 today from the home, 1015 Division street and at
two o’clock from the Wesley M.E. church. The deceased was ill for
the past six weeks. Born in Manitowoc he has always made his home
in this city and for over forty years was a trusted employee of
the Manitowoc Building Supply Co., holding a position as foreman
there for a number of years. Born in Manitowoc in 1867 he was
married to Bertha Boness in 1892 who with two daughters, Viola
and Edna and three sons, Earl and Oscar of this city and Edward
of Detroit, Mich., survive. Three brothers, John, Ernst and Frank
and four grandchildren also survive. The deceased was a member of
the Maccabee order, which attended the funeral this afternoon.
Employees of the Building Supply Co., also attended the funeral
services of their fellow employee.
