following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday
at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, the Rev. John Walker of the Wesley
Methodist church, Manitowoc, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Dueno was born in 1865 in Manitowoc, and always made his home in
Manitowoc. He retired 20 years ago after working for 50 years in the saw mill of
the Manitowoc Shipbuilding company. In 1890, he married Augusta Steffen, who
died in 1937. Since the death of his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Grilling, in 1949, Mr.
Dueno had made his home with a granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Haese, 1017 South 21st
street, Manitowoc. Survivors are a son, Roland, of Manitowoc; three
grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Friends may call at the Pfeffer funeral
home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
