FATHER DIES, SEEK ADDRESS OF DAUGHTER
John Dueno, 63, Passes Away at Hospital and Family Trying to Locate Daughter in Chicago
John Frederick Dueno, 63, of 1219 South Fourteenth street, vereran ship yard
worker, stricken with an attack of appendicitis and operated on last Friday at
the hospital, passed away there this morning at six o'clock.
While tentatve arrangements have been made to hold funeral services on Friday
afternoon from the St. John's church, efforts are now being made to locate a
daughter, Mrs. Thomas Gardner, believed to be in Chicago, but whose street
address is not known. The Dueno family appealed to the newspapers, through their
press associations, and also the authorities to try and get word to the daughter
of the death of her father this morning, so that she might come here for the
funeral.
Always Resided Here
Mr. Dueno was born in this city April 21, 1869 and has always made his home here.
He was married to (sic)1888 to Miss Mary Lestena, who survives him with three
daughters, Mrs. Oscar Bieberitz, city, Mrs. Alfred Bohde, Racine, and Mrs. Thomas
Gardner, Chicago, and two sons, John of Milwaukee and Clarence of this city. Two
brothers also survive, Frank and Ernst Dueno, both of this city. There are 14
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The deceased was a member of the Royal League.
