MARY L. DUENO (d. 1949)

Mrs. John Dueno, 78, of 1219 South 14th street, died Thursday evening at
Holy Family hosptial following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral
home and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Dueno, nee Mary Listena was born in Francis Creek in 1871 and was
married to John Dueno in 1888. He preceded her in death in 1932.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. A.C. Bode of Racine and Mrs. William Edgar
of New York City; two sons,John of Milwuakee and Clarence of Manitowoc; two
brothers, Jacob of North Prairie, Wis., and Frank of Milwaukee; two sisters,
Mrs. Arthur Maack of Racine and Mrs. Anna Braun of New York city; 13 grand-
children and 17 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Blanche Bieberitz,
preceded her mother in death.
Mrs. Dueno was a member of the Christian Mothers Altar society and members
will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Pfeffer funeral home. Friends
may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until time of services.
