Cooperstown news:
Mrs. Simon Dufeck, nee Mabel Ida Elmer of Denmark, who died March 27
after a lingering illness has brought deep sorrow to friends and
relatives. She was married to Mr. Dufeck June 17, 1913. Besides her
husband she leaves to mourn her los one son Earl, age 4 years. Three
sisters, they are: Mrs. James Zahorik of Mishicot, Mrs. Casper Shaden
of Two Rivers and Mrs. Dave Goessl of Cooperstown. Five brothers,
Frank Elmer of Green Bay, John Elmer of Iron Mountain, Edward Elmer
district attorney of Florence, Henry Elmer of Maribel and Charles Elmer
United States revenue clerk of Milwaukee. She also leaves a mother. All
the above were present at the funeral. Funeral services were held at the
house Monday, March 31, by Rev. Axtell of Manitowoc. Interment took place
at Manitowoc in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Dufeck was 28 years old at the
time of her death. Her life was marked with deeds of kindness, was always
willing to give her last to help out a neighbor or a friend. Her loving
tenderness as a wife and mother and her sympathy with all friends made
her dear to everyone who came in contact with her. Sympathy is extended
to relatives. Among the out of town relatives who attended the funeral
were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Drews and Mrs. J. Elfner of Manitowoc, Charles and
Frank Zeman of Rosencrans, Mrs. Julia Krall of Maribel, Mrs. Albert Zeman
of Rosencrans, Mr. and Mrs. John Skwor of Cooperstown, Mrs. Mabel Hansen
and Mrs. Rezba of Manitowoc, Mrs. Henry Osterlough of Green Bay and Mrs.
Frank Knuth and son Henry of Cooperstown, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dufeck of
Mishicot.

John Elmer of Iron Mountain, Edward Elmer of Florence, Charles Elmer
of Milwaukee, Frank Elmer and family of Green Bay, and Henry Elmer

city yesterday to attend the funeral of the late Mrs. Simon Dufek.

at the office of probate court today, Judge Chloupek officiating. Herman
Elmer and Anna Lodl were attendants.
