JOHN DUFFRIN

John Duffrin, 96, of 2202 Waldo Blvd, Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon at Holy
Family Hospital Extended Care Unit, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Koch will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Duffrin was born Aug. 7, 1877, at Addison, Wis., son of the late William
and Magdelena Sauer Duffrin. He was employed at National Tinsel Manufacturing
Co., Manitowoc, for 20 years. He married Marie L. Seehawer Nov. 21, 1911, at
Collins. She preceded him in death Feb. 24, 1974. He was a member of First
German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Schwab, of Manitowoc; a brother,
William Duffrin, of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Heinacke, of
Oconomowoc, Mrs. Anna Bradzeller, of Allenton, Wis., and Miss Celia Duffrin,
of Milwaukee. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Two daughters,
two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 to 9
p.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon Thursday until the hour of service.
