MARTHA DUMMER
Mrs. Albert Dummer, 88, formerly of 712 S. 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. T. P. Crusius will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Dummer, nee Martha Levenhagen, was born Sept. 6, 1880, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Fred and Charlotte Levenhagen. She attended local schools
and was married to Albert Dummer Oct. 23, 1901, at Manitowoc. The couple resided
at Manitowoc where he was a plumber-heating contractor, and he died in 1943. She
was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ and its Ladies Guild.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. A. M. (Edwina) Melcher, of Minneapolis, Minn. A
son, daughter, six sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
