AUGUST DUVENECK

August H. Duveneck, ___, 76, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday morning
at his home, ___ S. 19th? St., Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating, with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Duveneck was born Sept. 23, 1878, in the Town of Newton where he resided
until he married the former Emma Huebner at Two Rivers on March 6, 1905. The
couple operated a cheese factory in the Town of Two Rivers for eight years
before moving to Manitowoc 37 years ago. He was employed by the city for eight
years after which he took over ownership of the Sunshine Dairy, remaining active
in the business until he retired two years ago.
The couple celebrated its golden wedding in March of this year.
Mr. Duveneck is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. William Radzinske of
Manitowoc; a brother, Ernst Duveneck of Rt. 1, Mishicot; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be moved to the church where the
body will lie in state until the hour of services.
