Alois Duzeski, 57, of 1125 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since
Monday when he had a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John
Landowski officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Duzeski was born May 23, 1903, at Manitowoc, son of Theodore and the late
Josephine Chapleski Duzeski. He attended St. Mary Parochial School and at one
time was a printer at the Manitowoc Times. He was employed at Aluminum Goods
Manufacturing Co. for a number of years and, since 1944, had been a janitor at
Washington Junior High School, Manitowoc. He married Olyphia Dickert Aug. 17,
1927, at Manitowoc.
He was a member of St. Mary Parish and also a membre of Aerie 706 of the
Fraternal Order of Eagles of Manitowoc. A sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, his father, at Manitowoc; three brothers,
Stanley, Edward and James of Manitowoc, and two sisters, Mrs. Carl Jorgensen and
Mrs. Clem Weier of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock
this Monday evening by members of the parish. Members of the Eagles Aerie 706 will
conduct services at 8 o'clock this Monday evening at the funeral home.
