Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 1995, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Carl Meulemans with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born December 1, 1930, in the town of Cato, Wis., son of the late Andrew and Loretta Schamburek Ebert Sr. He was a graduate of St. Michael's School in Whitelaw and the Valders High School with the class of 1948. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict seving with the United States Army from 1951-1953. Jerry married the former Betty Kocourek on June 2, 1954, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville. Jerry was a dedicated employe with the Weyerhauser Company of Manitowoc for 41 years retiring on July 17, 1995, due to his illness.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ebert; two daughters and sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law; seven sisters and five brothers-in-law; very special friends (private). Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Charles Biely and Donald Bartels.
Friends may call at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of serivce.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
