MARTIN EINBERGER

Martin Einbeger, 94, former Valders resident who had lived at Shady Lane and
Park Lawn homes, Manitowoc, died Sunday night at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, where he had been a patient two months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Einberger was born April 28, 1871, in the Town of Cato, son of the late
Peter and Barbara Steiner Einberger. He married Mary Rappel May 21, 1895, at
St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mill, and farmed in the Town of Cato from 1895
to 1925, moving to Manitowoc. Mrs. Einberger died in October of 1944. He was a
member of Holy Name Society of St. Mary Chuch.
Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Pankratz, of Manitowoc and Mrs.
Max Pankratz, of Valders, a son, Clarence Einberger, of Maniitowoc; a brother,
Frank Einberger, of Lakewood, Wis, 16 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
A son, a daughter, three brothers and a sister prceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will
be recited at 7 p.m.
