EDWARD F. ELLERMAN
Edward F. Ellerman, 71, of 1479 North Bay Shore Drive, Brussels, Wisconsin,
died Monday evening, December 24, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Leo Schmitt with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Ellerman was born April 15, 1912, at Little Black, Wisconsin, son of the
late John F. and Rose Lishka Ellerman. He moved to Manitowoc with his parents
as a child, residing here since. He attended St. Boniface Parochial School and
graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1931. He married the former
Mary B. Herzog on February 16, 1935, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a route salesman for the Sindelar
Bakery for 21 years and also employed by Dick Brothers Bakery and five years at
Imperial Clevite Inc. Mr. Ellerman was a 45 year member of Fraternal Order of
Eagles Aeries Number 706.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Robert J. Ellerman of Manitowoc; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Blanch Ellerman of Lantana, Florida, Donald
and Joan Ellerman and Jack and Helen Ellerman, all of Manitowoc; two sisters and
a brother-in-law, Evelyn Cooper and Dorothy and Paul Boeckmann, all of Manitowoc;
two grandsons, David and his wife Kim and Steven and a great granddaughter,
Ashli.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock
Thursday afternoon. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. by Deacon Paul
Kieffer. Eagles Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial has been established in
his name.
