MARY ERTMAN

Mrs. Joseph (Mary R.) Ertman, 82, of 1028 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Calvary Assembly of God Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Marvel D. Juve will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ertman, nee Mary Gordon, was born June 28, 1895 in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late David and Minnie Schultz Gordon. She attended local schools at Kingsbridge and Cooperstown. Following her marriage to Joseph Ertman in September of 1922 in Manitowoc, they resided at Plymouth, later returning to the homestead farm at Kingsbridge and moving to Manitowoc in 1947. Mr. Ertman preceded her in death June 29, 1970.
Survivors include a son, Clarence of Sheboygan Falls; three daughters, Josephine Ertman of Manitowoc, Marie Sweetman of Two Rivers and Irene Rohl of Whitelaw; a sister, Mrs. Alice Qualman of Green Bay; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek & Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and in the church from noon Monday until the time of service.
