Thomas M. Eucke, age 77, of 1445 N. 7th St., Manitowoc, died Monday,
March 8, 1999, at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 1999, at
the Jens Family Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Joel Otto,
with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites
will (sic) accorded by the Otto Oas V.F.W. Post #659.
He was born June 6, 1921, in Two Rivers, son of the late John and Martha
Heldt Eucke. He served in the United States Army from 1942 until 1946,
when he was discharged as a Sergeant. He was a past member of the V.F.W.
Post #6707, Kiel, Wis.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Valerie
Eucke, Denver, Colo., Dennis and Rose Eucke, Milwaukee, Todd and Laurie
Eucke, Aurora, Ill.; one granddaughter, Ashley Eucke, Aurora, Ill.;
three sisters, Thelma Stupecky, Shawano, Evelyn Engelbrecht, Two Rivers,
Angeline Martin, Shawano; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law,
Bill and Carol Ballman, Manitowoc; Shirley Eucke-Wimmer, Manitowoc;
nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in
death by two brothers, Ralph Benthein, Bob Eucke; one sister, Florence Biel.
Relatives and friends may call at the Jens Family Funeral Home from 10
a.m. on Friday until the time of services at 11 a.m.
Memorials may be made to the First German Ev. Lutheran Church.
