ARNOLD E. FANDRICK

Arnold E. Fandrick, age 86, of 950 S. Rapids Road, Manitowoc,
died Sunday evening, Feb. 11, 2007, at his residence.
Arnold was born June 4, 1920, in Engadine, Mich., son of the
late Alexander and Augusta Hildebrandt Fandrick. On Dec. 18,
1945, he married the former Julia Titera at First Reformed
United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. He served in the U.S.
Army during World War II from December of 1942 until his
honorable discharge in November of 1945. Arnold was a member
of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was a volunteer
in helping distribute the monthly newsletter. He was a member
of American Legion Drews-Bleser Post 88, charter member of the
World War II Monument of Washington D.C., Holy Family Memorial
Medical Center volunteer for 23 years, and a member of the
Wisconsin Maritime Museum Association and Lincoln Park Zoo
Association.
Arnold is survived by his wife: Julia of Manitowoc; two daughters
and one son-in-law: Carol and Ronald Bursek, Kenosha; Nancy
Fandrick of Waukesha; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Ronald
Fandrick of East Lansing, Mich.; Gary Fandrick and his wife:
Sarah Grimes of Oakhurst, N.J.; 11 grandchildren: Brenda and Jim
Krekling; Rebecca and Matt Meltzer; Dan and Karen Bursek; Chad E.
Stueber; Katie Fandrick, Steve Fandrick, Ronald D. Fandrick Jr.,
Beau Fandrick, Eric Arnold Fandrick, Kurt Fandrick and Carol Ann
Fandrick; four great-grandchildren: Veronica Leigh Krekling,
Julia Rebecca Krekling; Chynna Stueber; and Jace Fandrick; three
sisters; Ethel Titera of Manitowoc; Violet Schroeder of Engadine,
Mich.; Lucille Adler of Newberry, Mich.; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends also survive including Emelia Bromley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Alex,
Sigfred, and Louis Fandrick; and one grandson: Adam Celmer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15,
2007, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane,
Manitowoc. The Rev's Stephen Melso and Robert Kujawski will
officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives
may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday until the time
of service.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is
serving the Fandrick family.
