Mrs. William Fehring, 87 (photo), lifelong resident of city and county, died
this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richard Oestreich, of 1011
North 11th street.
She was born Louise Schuette in Kossuth in 1862(sic) and in 1879 married William
Fehring. They located on a farm in the town and 30 years ago moved to this city.
Mr. Vehring died two years later.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Oestreich of this city and Mr. Arthur Abendschein
of Minneapolis; two brothers, Henry of Unity and William of Kossuth; three grand-
children and three great grandchildren. Two daughters, Mrs. George Diehm and Louis,
and a son, Dr. E. Fehring, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday at the First German Evangelical
Lutheran church, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday
and will be moved to the church at 10 am. Tuesday.
