Mathilda (Bobbie) Fehrman, age 87, formerly of 625 North 10th Street, Manitowoc,
died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, 1998, at St. Paul
United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Rev. James Barnes will officiate with burial
to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born December 8, 1910, at Plymouth,Wis., daughter of the late Roman and
Lenora Dennerlein Rauland. She grew up in the Sheboygan Falls area and graduated
from Sheboygan Falls High School with the class of 1928. She also attended and
graduated from Holy Family Nursing School with the class of 1932, a Registered
Nurse.
Bobbie worked as a private nurse and also worked at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Bobbie's first marriage was to Henry Reuther, on August 19, 1933, at Seymour. He
preceded her in death in 1976. She then married Marvin Fehrman, September 24,
1983, in Manitowoc, and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a life long
member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women's
Society. She was a member of the Manitowoc Two Rivers Shrine Auxiliary, and a
former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a past Matron in 1950.
Survivors included one son and two daughters-in-law, Roger and Annie Reuther, New
Berlin, and Joan Reuther, Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Chris and his wife, Kristi
Reuther, Milwaukee, Rick and his wife, Gloria Reuther, Oshkosh, Jody and her
husband, Dan Dickson, Oshkosh, Jerri and her husband, David Platta, Zitto, Wis.;
also surviving are three great-grand children, all of Oshkosh. She was preceded
in death by her husbands, Henry Reuther and Marvin Fehrman; two sons, Roman and
Roy Reuther.
Memorials would be appreciated for St. Paul United Methodist Church or the
Shriners Children Hospital.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Friday
from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at 1:30 p.m.
