Hugo A. Feile, age 95, a Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at
Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 1997, at Grace Ev.
Lutheran Chruch, 2426 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc. Rev. Keith Haag will officiate
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Hugo was born January 1, 1902, in Reedsville, Wis, son of the late Robert C.
and Helen Fluhr Feile. He grew up and was educated in Reedsville and was a 1920
graduate of Reedsville High School. He farmed in the Reedsville area prior to
moving to Manitowoc. He was employed as a machinist at Kaufman Manufacturing,
Manitowoc, for 26 years until his retirement in 1967. Hugo was married to
Elsie A. Busse November 17, 1926, in Reedsville. They celebrated 70 years of
marriage together. He was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and the
International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Thomas H.
Rees, Manitowoc; his sister, Mrs. Norma Beilke, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Relatives and friends may call at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. Friday
until the time of service.
