JAMES FERGUSON

DEATH COMES TO J.W. FERGUSON WITH NO WARNING
Returns Home from Day's Labors and Is Stricken.
James W. Ferguson, father of S.K. Ferguson of the Wisconsin Pea Canners Co.
and a resident here with his son for the past eight months, died suddenly
at the Ferguson home on North Sixth Street last night. Mr. Ferguson was 62
years of age.
Mr. Ferguson, although he had been ailing for some time, was not thought to
be seriously ill and had been at his post at the plant of the Aluminum Goods
Co., where he had been employed, yesterday. He returned home from the office
at the usual hour and though he appeared weary did not complain of any serious
illness and his death, which occurred while the family were in the home during
the evening, came as a great shock. Physicians who were summoned when Mr.
Ferguson collapsed, were unable to revive him and death ensued in a short time.
Mr. Ferguson was a native of New York state but since manhood had made his
home at Chicago up until a few months ago when he and Mrs. Ferguson came here
to be with their son. During his residence, Mr. Ferguson has made many friends
to whom his death will bring sorrow.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife and one son.
The funeral will probably be held from the home on North Sixth street Friday
afternoon.
