Cynthia A. Fesing, age 73, of N3165 County Highway G, Chilton, died Friday morning,
Sept. 30, 2005 at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County. Funeral services will
be at 2:30 pm on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Thomas J. Dunham will officiate. Burial will take place on
Monday at Evergreen Cemetery.
Cynthia was born Sept. 9, 1932 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Edith
Clark Shoblaska. She attended school in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of
1950 from Lincoln High School. She then attended art school in California. On
Aug. 7, 1971, Cyntha married Norman H. Fesing. She was a dispatcher for George
Clark Transit for many years. She was a member of the American Saddlebred Horse
Association, United States Equestrian Federation Inc. Cynthia loved all animals
especially her three horses: Fancy in Flames, Steel Express, and the Blue Kangaroo.
She also loved being outdoors and enjoyed painting.
Survivors include her husband, Norman H. Festing, Chilton; two daughters and one
son-in-law, Jennifer McWilliams, Manitowoc and Jessica (Bob) Hill, Two Rivers; one
son, Jeffrey Kotche, Chilton; three grandchildren: Nissa (Eric) Nelson, Madison,
Kelsey (Mike) Wolfe, Manitowoc; Brittney Olson, Madison; one brother and sister-in-
law, Clark (Judi) Shoblaska, Two Rivers. Numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
other relatives and friends also survive.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday form 2 pm until the time of service at
2:30 pm at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 411 Reed Ave., Manitowoc. In lieu
of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name. The Reinbold & Pfeffer
Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the Fesing Family.
