Mrs. Emily Fick(sic), 83, died at 8:15 this morning at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Edward Sieker, 1321 South 13th street. She had suffered
a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Wattawa, Urbanek
and Schlei funeral home. The Rev. Carl Hagen will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Fick was born January 26, 1860, in Manitowoc. The former Amelia Filter,
she was married in 1881 to Henry Fick, who preceded her in death 28 years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sieker, with whom she made her home in
Manitowoc, and Mrs. Walter Hoffmann of Chicago. There are also four grand-
children and three great grandchildren.
Friends may view the remains at the funeral home from Friday noon until the
time of the services Saturday.
