Mrs. William H. Fischer, 78, of 1012 Marshal St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of three weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Untied Church of Christ,
Manitowoc, the Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
The former Amanda Lippert was born July 21, 1885, in the Town of Newton, daughter
of the late Ernst and Mary Luebke Lippert. At the age of 18 she came to Manitowoc
where Oct. 30, 1909, she was married to William H. Fischer. He died in February
of 1959. She was a member of the Women's Guild of St. John Church.
Surviving Mrs. Fischer is a son, Omer, and a daughter, Mrs. Chester Gustavson,
of Manitowoc, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A sister and
two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Sunday until 10:30 a.m. Monday when the casket will be moved to the church where
the body will lie in state until time of service.
