ELSIE FITTING
Elsie Fitting, 71, of 552 Friar Place, Chicago, a former Manitwooc resident,
died Saturday evening at American Hospital, Chicago, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, with Christian Scientist services, Mrs. Vivian Seymore, reader.
Miss Fitting was born May 22, 1889, at Hartford, Washington County, daughter
of the late Jacob and Caroline Knaab Fitting. She came to Manitowoc in 1910
and was employed at The Spindler Co. She moved to Chicago in 1931, where she
was employed at Marshall Field Department Store.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Herman Diskowski of Manitowoc and Mrs.
Arthur Goetz of Hartford and two nieces.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 o'clock this Monday evening.
