Edwin Fitzpatrick, 74, of Milwaukee, father of Mrs. Elmer Hougen of this city,
died Friday morning in a Milwaukee hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home here with internment(sic) in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born in Kenderhook, Ill., and in 1898 he married the
former Miss Elizabeth Williams in Hayton, Calumet county. She died in 1943.
The deceased was a foreman at the Quarry lime kilns for a number of years,
following which he operated a general store at Quarry. Twenty years ago he
retired and moved to Milwaukee where he has made his home ever since.
Surviving are a son, Harold of Milwaukee; six daughters, Mrs. Hougen of this
city, Mrs. Eddie Zemlicka, Mrs. Clifford Murphy and Mrs. Ray Seitz, all of
Milwaukee, and Mrs. Charles Haggerty of Los Angeles and Mrs. Harold Spargur
of Olympia, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Harry McIntire of San Gables, Calif., and
11 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Tuesday evening until the
time of services Wednesday afternoon.
