CHARLES J. FOKETT

Charles C.(sic) Fokett, 85, of 815 Jay St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following illness of three months.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Fokett was born May 5, 1877, in the Town of Maple Grove, son of the late
Charles and Tina Radue Fokett. He married Bertha Mull in 1900 in the Town of
Kossuth. She preceded him in death in 1940. He was a cheesemaker by trade,
retiring 10 years ago.
Survivors include a son, Allan of San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, August of
Reedsville; two sisters, Mrs. David Marr of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Mrs.
James Bowden of Chicago. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in
death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be removed to the
church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
