MRS. FOLLETZ DIES HERE, 69
Funeral Rites Will Be Held On Tuesday Afternoon
Mrs. Samuel Folletz, 69, who came here with her husband from Germany 36 years
ago, died early Sunday morning at the family home, 1120 Green street. She had
been in failing health for the past two months.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Frazier mortuary,
in charge of the Rev. Hubert Feldt, with interment at Evergreen. The remains
may be viewed at the funeral home up to the hour of services.
Born Lena Seluga in Hanover, Germany in 1864, the deceased was brought up there
and 49 years ago was married to Samuel Folletz. Had she lived until August the
couple would have observed their golden wedding anniversary. They left Germany
36 years ago, coming direct to Manitowoc, where they since resided.
Besides the husband four daughters, Mrs. T.C. Eckhart, Mrs. Alfred Naibert,
Mrs. Frank Kreil and Mrs. Wilbur Maertz, and three sons, Walter, Arthur, Erwin,
all residents of this city survive. There are also 20 grandchildren.
