SAMUEL FOLLETZ

Samuel August Folletz, 82, died Sunday evening at the home of his
son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Eckhart, 1120 Green
Street. He had been ill for the past week.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm from the Frazier
mortuary with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Interment will
be in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Folletz was born May 11, 1860 in Lithuania and came to this
county in 1897, coming directly to this city. He was married to
Lena Seluga in 1883. For many years he was employed as a furniture
finisher for the Manitowoc Seating company. He has been retired for
many years. His wife preceded him in death in 1933. Survivors are
four daughters, Mrs. T.C. Eckhart, Mrs. Alfred Naibert, Mrs. Frank
Kriel and Mrs. Wilbur Maertz, all of this city; three sons, Walter
of Milwaukee and Arthur and Erwin, Manitowoc; and 26 grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 3pm Tuesday to
the hour of the funeral.
