George E. Foster, 300 Buffalo street, died early this morning at the Holy
Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral home
where the body will lie in state after 7 o’clock this evening. Burial will
be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Foster was born at Little Suamico and came to Manitowoc in 1902. He was
a ship contractor. He married Caroline Zeiser 43 years ago and she died some
time ago.
Survivors are two sons, Erving of Racine and Oscar of Fort Custer, Mich., two
daughters, Mrs. Lambert Lindqueste and Mrs. Kenneth Chapin, both of Delevan,
Wis., and one grandchild.
