Grace J. Franken, age 93, nee LeClair, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away at
St. Luke's Hospital, Racine, Tuesday, February 1, 1994.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church,
1509 Grand Ave., Racine, Wis., on Friday, February 4, 1994, at 11 a.m. with
Rev. Edward A. Vogel officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born in Two Rivers March 6, 1900, to David and Eugenia Gagnon LeClair.
She had been a Racine resident for many years. She was married to the late
Joseph P. Franken at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. February 15, 1922.
She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Racine.
Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Elaine Franken, Racine,
Donna (Ralph) Yannutz, Aurora, Colo., Marion Franken, Columbus, Ohio; six
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, other relatives and friends also
survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, one son, Richard H.
Franken, two brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Holy Name Church, Racine, have
been suggested.
