Betty M. Franz, age 71, of Manitowoc, died on Thursday morning, Jan. 3, 2008, at her residence.
She was born on April 9, 1936, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Frank and Mayme (Kaufmann) Fronk. Betty was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, class of 1954.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and Steven Steinhauer, Two Rivers; Lori and Bob Masiak, Neenah; and Lynn and Charles Wagner, Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren: Jake, Cody and Ani Steinhauer; Krista, McKenzie, R. Casey, Lexi and Morgan Masiak; and Whitney, Weston and Wade Wagner; and a brother and sister-in-law: Dr. Roy and Martha Fronk, Two Rivers. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her former husband: Eugene Franz; and two brothers and sisters-in-law: Francis and Mae Fronk; and Earl and Ruth "Mickey" Fronk.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
