Mrs. Donald A. Franz, 39, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sunday morning
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient a day.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N. W. Kock will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Franz, nee Dorothy Kuhl, was born Oct. 27, 1927, at Manitowoc, daughter of
Charles and Alma Lohse Kuhl. She attended Manitowoc public schools and was
graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1945. She was married to
Donald Franz April 9, 1949, at Manitowoc. For the past three years she had been
a part-time employe at Mirro Aluminum Co., Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband and parents, two sons, (private) and two daughters,
(private); two brothers, (private), and a sister, (private). A brother, Robert,
preceded her in death April 12, 1961.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Tuesday until noon Wednesday and then at the church where the body will lie in
state until the time of service.
