Edwin H. Franz, 67, of 1203 33rd Street, Two Rivers, died Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 1988 at the Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Two Rivers. Rev. Donald Marquardt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Franz was born July 4, 1920 in the Town of Manitowoc, son of the late Oscar and Adela Schroeder Franz. He married Alice Dawidowicz on November 13, 1943 at Sacred Heart Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Franz was employed at Hamilton Industries for 38 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Hamilton Good Fellowship Club and past member of the Town of Two Rivers Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Alice; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Betty Franz of Two Rivers and Paul and Donna Franz of Two Rivers; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Gerald Day of Green Bay, Mary Ann and Robert Cherveny of Two Rivers and Gerry and Bill Genrich of Two Rivers; two sisters, a twin, Edna Franz of Manitowoc and Ruth Franz of Manitowoc and nine grandchildren. Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday where a memorial service will be at 7 pm.
